South San Francisco, CARESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Contract Manager will draft and negotiate a variety of contracts and budgets for Clinical Research, Investigator Sponsored Trials, and Vendor agreements for the Development Department and have the ability to take on more complex contracts as necessary. Collaborate with Development project teams to meet contracting needs, ensuring a high level of Customer Service and partnership with both internal and external clients. Large impact in dollar amount negotiations and in decisions of Genentech. Will work with other members of the US Site Contracts, as well as members of the Legal Department, Lead Study Managers, Development Department senior management, Risk Management, andFinance.
Requirements:
- BA or BS degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- 4-5 years of Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- 2 years of experience in negotiating contract terms, conditions and financials.
- Contracting and budgeting experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and Customer Service skills are required.
- Highly organized self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and File Maker Pro.
