The Strategy Lead for Pulmozyme and Pegasys is responsible for maintaining a brand/product focus, while considering the impact of program changes on key stakeholders/partners/customers. Based on data collected internally and externally (to Access Solutions), they will work with partners to design appropriate strategies to meet brand reimbursement goals.
The Strategy Lead will communicate the vision of the brand to the internal Coverage & Reimbursement/Patient Assistance Programs team, partner with the Operation Manager to design changes and communicate status of implementation activities out to stakeholders. The Strategy Lead will develop in coordination with the Operations Manager, key metrics for program performance. They will identify program differentiation strategies to counter or minimize competitor's program impact on Genentech products and align customer practices and needs with these strategies. They will represent Coverage & Reimbursement/Patient Assistance Programs services to both internal and external customers.
The Strategy Lead will represent and advocate for the interests of Coverage & Reimbursement/Patient Assistance Programs at brand/product Commercial Teams, such as Quarterly Business Updates/Reviews, Launch Readiness Reviews, etc.
Requirements Candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in health care, reimbursement, biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or related experience with at least two years in a leadership capacity. BS/BA in business health related focus or related area. MBA or masters preferred. They should have former supervisory/managerial experience, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within specified timelines and quality standards, and have excellent public presentation skills, both written and verbal. This candidate will possess integrity and proven leadership abilities. They will show respect for diversity and continually energize their team while managing conflict. Candidate will have demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate business solutions in a complex and fast paced environment, and will posses strong consulting, meeting management and group process facilitation skills to achieve pre-defined objectives. Primary working relationships are with: Internal Operations Manager, department management team, internal Sales Management,Marketing, Sales Systems,Legal, Regulatory,Finance, key Distributors, Distribution and Commercial Systems Operations, Field Managed Care, Managed Care Contracting and Managed Care Marketing. This position will require some travel and flexibility in work shift.
