Experience: Two (2) years supervisory experience in a production environment, preferably including experience with Collective Bargaining Unit employees. Knowledge of FDA QSRs, and requirements of ISO 13485. Experience with document review and investigation of nonconformities. Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles is desirable.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Computer skills needed include MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership and accountability, and be a vocal advocate for continuous improvement. A record of developing personnel, establishing a culture of learning, and motivating others to achieve Excellence is highly desirable. Analytical and trouble-shooting skills are a must. Duties and Responsibilities: Position Responsibilities: Supervise team of assemblers in the Packaging Department. Responsible for scheduling and executing daily activities of assemblers, and ensuring timely completion of all Work Orders. Responsible for compliance of department with all procedures and Quality Systems Requirements. Responsible for operating within budget and delivering results that achieve Packaging objectives. Responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
