**MUST POSSESS IT QUALITY OR VALIDATION BACKGROUND**
This candidate will move Genentech Informatics (GI) to a single Quality & Validation methodology, which meets the GXP requirements and is fully aligned with Roche Informatics Quality standards and policies. The position will report to the Head of Roche Informatics Quality in Basel, Switzerland and will have a dotted line reporting relationship with the GTI Lead.
The ideal candidate will manage and develop customer relationship with an assigned Genentech Informatics (GI) area and allocate resources to best Support the GI function with their objectives (projects and operations). Participate in Global Informatics Quality initiatives and projects, and assist with planning and budget management activities.
This position will initially lead a regional team of up to 12 direct reports while at the same time transition to a fully global role with responsibility for QA projects across the world with responsibility for the alignment of GI to Roche Pharma Global Informatics Quality and Validation approach. This position will be responsible for a global team of QA Analysts working on diverse scope, through setting goals which are aligned with business imperatives and rewarding achievements. Ensure efficient and effective delivery of the functional strategy and plans based on agreed IT processes, standards and tools and be the point of contact for all business quality across the Roche enterprise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 4 Year Accredited Degree
* 5+ Years Quality Management Experience with preferably a couple of years of experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
* 12+ Years Quality Experience with preferably a couple of years of experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
* 5+ years of people management experience
* Project and Program delivery experience desired
* Experience of having worked in a GXP environment and proficiency in Computer Systems Validation
* Knowledge and understanding of industry standard models and frameworks in the areas of - Project Management (PMI or Prince 2), Service Management (ITIL) and Application Development (CMMI)
* Has led large change initiatives
* Strong collaboration skills, working across internal and external organizations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working in a highly networked, geographically dispersed setting
Requirements:
1. Understand and implement the Roche Pharma Global Informatics Quality and Validation approach for Genentech Informatics. 30%
2. Work with the Process Alignment Program in harmonizing the quality, validation, project management and service management processes across Genentech Informatics and Roche Pharma Global Informatics 25%
3. Work with the Genentech Business Quality teams to ensure their requirements are met and they endorse the use of one means to manage IT Quality within GI. 15%
4. Build the Genentech Informatics Quality organization. Hire and mentor the team 20%
5. Normal Administrative Activities. 10%
