Specific Responsibilities:
Typically requires a BS degree in Chemistry and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
Tests raw materials, intermediates and finished product samples according to written procedures. Reviews data and results of testing to ensure compliance to appropriate specifications and protocols. Troubleshoot instrumentation/test methods. Assists in the Training of QC staff as needed.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Must be able to apply knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) on a daily basis. Must have a working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
